Bobby Santi
The client is an up and coming rapper. He wanted minimal look with just a photo of himself as a silhouette on a white background. Additional instances of this design with track titles were needed as well. I was able to communicate with the client over video chat and in person to gain direction, get their opinion, and keep them updated. The final product is now featured on Spotify and SoundCloud.

Technical Illustration
Client: Student Project
Overview:
The project was to create a technical illustration of a vehicle or home with a cut away aspect. A requirement for this project was effectively using gradient meshes when necessary to achieve the desired effect.
I approached this project differently and decided on using a retro camper as my inspiration. Because this was an uncommon subject choice, there weren’t any examples for me to gain insight from. I spent hours browsing photos of retro campers and retro camper interiors to find the perfect base point and plan my interior.
This project was as equally time consuming as it was rewarding. Going into this challenge I felt nervous because I’d never done an illustration like this before and I’d never worked with the gradient mesh tool. Upon completion I was proud of the result. Not only was it a project that exceeded my expectations, I learned a lot throughout the process and I enjoyed every minute of it. I had a lot of fun creating this and seeing it all come together at the end was like magic.
Personal Avatar
Client: Student Project
Overview:
The project was to create an avatar of yourself from a photograph. A requirement for this project was to incorporate patterns in a unique way to demonstrate texture.
I chose to incorporate the patterns into my jacket, hair, and glasses. I chose a flowered pattern in the hair to illustrate waves and volume. My jacket in the photo was a jean jacket so I tried to recreate that texture with the pattern I chose. The glasses I wear are a tortoise shell design so I recreated something similar to add more personality to the avatar.
Overall the project was successful and I really enjoyed it. There’s a lot of room for creativity with art like this and I’m interested in exploring more styles. I’m looking forward to working on something like this again!
Badge Set
Personal Project
Overview:
This is a logo set for a fictitious design company. I picked a name for inspiration and created a few concepts.
I had been interested in creating a badge style logo because I see them often on a lot of the things I love. The center of the badge features an eyeball with two crossed pens in the center.
Robotic Lawns
Client: Robotic Lawns LLC
Overview:
The client is an entrepreneur starting a business selling hands free lawn mowers. They wanted a logo that incorporated a robot, the company name, their tagline, and colors : orange, grey, and green.
I was able to produce a logo that was in line with their vision and they were really happy with the result. The client had shirts and backpacks made with the design for promotional purposes. During this process they discovered that in order to stand out on some fabrics the logo needed a stroke added to it. I was able to fix the problem with ease and get new files to them right away. As a thank you they sent me a backpack! This kind gesture meant the world to me because for the first time I was able to see something I created digitally on something real.
Months later, I was contacted to design a retractable banner for their trade show stands The banner needed to be designed in a way to draw the viewer’s eye, communicate information about the product, showcase a couple of the mowers, and have the logo on it. Scroll down to see the result!

Icon Set
Client: Student Project
Overview:
The assignment was to design an icon set that was different than the usual. A requirement of the project was that it be 10 icons for these purposes: home, back, products, services, support, about, contact, gallery, help, and location.
The theme I chose for this project was camping. I chose this theme because it’s a hobby of mine and there are many different aspects to camping that could be used for the needs of the project. When creating these icons I created them first on paper and then in Illustrator. I created them with the intention that it would be to help guide a user when using a brochure or navigating a website.
I loved working on this project and it was very fundamental to developing my skills with this Adobe product.
Wedding Materials
Client: Melissa Tugwell
Overview:
The client is getting married soon and needs save the dates and wedding invitations. Melissa wanted something cute that used her color scheme and she needed it ASAP.
I was happy to get started right away creating these materials for this bride! Melissa didn’t have an idea of what she wanted them to look like yet so I asked her a series of questions to get a conversation going. By the end of the conversation I had a good idea of what she was hoping for and I began working. I kept in contact with the bride to be to get suggestions and make sure everything was just right for her big announcement.
The invitations are not available to view until after the wedding.
